Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Trenton, GA. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Adheres to client's Values and all safety, environmental, security, and quality requirements, including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Sets up and runs experiments or test apparatus.
  • Designs, recommends, assembles, and installs equipment and apparatus, as well as processes, for product fabrication, research and development, or analysis and testing.
  • Writes instructions and trains personnel in proper techniques to utilize systems, equipment, and processes.
  • Performs complex troubleshooting; repairs, modifies, and maintains systems or equipment.
  • Analyzes data, evaluates systems and processes, and makes decisions regarding necessary modifications.
  • Writes technical reports and other necessary documentation.
  • Interacts with and advises other departments.
  • Assigns or coordinates tasks of other technicians within the group.
  • Calibrates metrology-related equipment, including electrical, mechanical, electromechanical, analytical, and electronic measuring, recording, and indicating instruments and equipment to established standards, and performs tests to industry standards.
  • Occasionally performs routine maintenance on metrology equipment.
  • Troubleshoot equipment failures.
  • Perform equipment repairs.
  • Provide input regarding metrology equipment selection, replacements, and upgrades
  • Interface with internal customers and external service providers to ensure accurate, efficient, and effective actions regarding calibration activities.
  • Maintain accurate and appropriate records, including paper, electronic, and database records. Create or modify calibration-related work instructions.
  • Performs other duties as necessary.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $24.00/hr.

Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (1st Shift), Monday - Friday.

Length: Temp (13 weeks).

Holiday pay (certain holidays), 401(k), direct deposit, and medical and dental insurance.

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED with at least 10 years of experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience calibrating metrology-related equipment, troubleshooting equipment failures, and performing routine maintenance on equipment.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Associate Degree with at least 5 years of experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree with at least 3 years of experience.
