Neurology Clinic - Staff Nurse

The Department of Neurology is seeking atemporary,hourly Staff Nurse to work in the fast-paced Neurology Clinic.

Duties to include

• Assessing patients' nursing care needs
• Evaluating effectiveness of care provided
• Integrating nursing theory and research into clinical practice
• Providing leadership to members of the nursing team in order to maintain patient care standards

Schedule: Hours will be worked between 8:00am and 6:00pm, Monday through Friday. No weekends or holidays. Number of hours will be determined between applicant and supervisor upon hire.

Qualifications

Required Education

One of the following:

• Associate Degree in Nursing,
• Diploma in Nursing,
• Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing (BSN),
• Professional Master of Nursing and Healthcare Practice (MNHP),
• MSN/Clinical Nurse Leader,or
• Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN, MA)

Required Experience

All of the following:

• Current license to practice nursing in Iowa
• Minimum 1-year inpatient nursing experience
• Ambulatory Nursing experience
