Dental Assistant - Part Time

General Summary: Assists providers in direct care of patients, while maintaining the highest comfort and quality of care.

Note: This position will require front desk/receptionist duties as needed.

Education:

High school diploma required.

Minimum of 1 year dental assistant experience required.

CDA preferred or enrolled in the program, can be obtained in this position.

Experience with reception preferred.

Good communication skills required.

On-the-job training available.

Must be courteous and efficient.

Must understand principals of infection control.

Experience with Dentrix Enterprise and Dexis Imaging preferred, training available.

As applicable, the individual has training/competency in attending to the special needs and/or behaviors appropriate to the age of patients for which care is being provided.
