CTC is seeking a Safety and Health Professional, this individual will need to be a results-driven safety professional with a strong background in program development, evaluation, and continuous improvement across diverse agency environments. Acclimate leading strategic safety initiatives that drive compliance, enhance workplace health and safety standards, and contribute to cost reduction through proactive risk management. Skilled in guiding safety teams, fostering collaboration, and leveraging data analysis to support informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Perform program development work and periodically assess compliance of programs in agencies to include, but not limited to, the following: formal program reviews, monitoring metrics, and performing other similar responsibilities.
  • Develop and manage multiple initiatives to include, but not limited to, the following: ensure compliance, reduce injuries, and continually improve safety efforts to reduce costs.
  • Lead and coach Agency Safety Consultants, as needed.
  • Work with Agency Safety Consultants to support or manage the day-to-day safety programs.
  • Conduct Accident and Illness Prevention Program (AIPP) assessments and audits
  • Develop, revise, and deliver safety and health trainings or educational sessions.
  • Plan and organization multiple initiatives simultaneously, determine responsibilities, and track completion to stay on target.
  • Develop and write Agency specific safety programs.
  • Analyze data and prepare technical reports and provide recommendations.

Basic Qualifications:


  • A bachelor's degree or higher earned from an accredited program from an accredited college or university in safety science or engineering with a major concentration in occupational or industrial safety and health.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a safety related field.
  • Ability to work during core business hours 8:00am - 5:00pm Eastern Time (EST/EDT) Monday through Friday.
  • Ability to pass a background check.

Preferred Skills:


  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or another certification granted by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP).
