Position Purpose |
A Research Project Manager (
RPM) is needed to support the Administrative Core team on the
COBRE and
DCIS center to manage daily activities for training, grant and program management, and coordination with center directors, cores, RPLs and PPLs.
RPM will plan, manage, and execute the day-to-day administration and operation of the Dartmouth Center for Implementation Science. Primary responsibilities include coordination of Center activities (e.g., seminars, grant collaborations), management and maintenance of Center data systems, and development and management of Center communications. This position will serve as an integral member of the Center team to develop and achieve project objectives, facilitate the execution of project plans, communicate project status to leadership, and work effectively to resolve problems. |

Join the team at the Dartmouth Center for Implementation Science (
DCIS) as a Research Project Manager (
RPM). The Center provides implementation science training and offers a range of educational resources for researchers, practitioners, and trainees. The
RPM is needed to support the Administrative Core team on the
COBRE and
DCIS center to manage daily activities for training, grant and program management, and coordination with center directors, cores, RPLs and PPLs.
RPM will plan, manage, and execute the day-to-day administration and operation of the
DCIS. Primary responsibilities include coordination of Center activities (e.g., seminars, grant collaborations), management and maintenance of Center data systems, and development and management of Center communications. - Bachelor's degree plus 5-8 years of research or project management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in and/or willingness to be trained in implementation science.
- Experience working with online data collection and management tools such as Qualtrics, MailChimp, Zapier, and Zoom, or equivalent systems.
- Experience contributing to reports, presentations, web content, communications, and/or other written and visual materials.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work effectively as a team member with appropriate attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, work independently, and anticipate needs to advance projects.
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills and ability to use sound judgment when interacting with outside parties.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate and interact with all levels of staff, management, and executive leadership.

Preferred Qualifications |
- Master's degree
- 5-8 years of experience in a Project Coordinator, Project Manager, or similar role
- Experience with STATA or other statistical software is desired but not required.
- Experience with WordPress or other web development tool is desired but not required.
- Understanding of research design, implementation, and analysis.
- Training, experience, and interest in implementation science.
- Driven work ethic to meet deadlines & coordinate multiple projects while thriving in a fast-paced setting.
