The Department of General Business at West Virginia University is currently accepting applications for a part-time (Hybrid) Secondary Schools Liaison: Kendrick Center for an Ethical Economy. About the Opportunity The Secondary School Liaison is an outreach coordinator to promote key initiatives directed at secondary school students, staff, and administration in the State of West Virginia. Particular emphasis is to be given to the promotion of: Dual Credit Program: Expanding access to Kendrick coordinated and sponsored Economics college courses for high school students across West Virginia (ECON 201 through WVU Access). Educators Program: Recruiting high school teachers and other secondary school staff and administration to attend special workshops in Economics, which are designed to lead application and participation in a Kendrick Center scholarship-funded graduate degree in economics. This role combines in-person advocacy (school visits, conferences) and virtual engagement (Zoom/Teams) to build partnerships with educators, administrators, and students.
