PIVOT Analyst

What you will be doing:

The Analyst works collaboratively within a team of account managers, developers, and consultants to deliver a Software program called PIVOT to healthcare systems. PIVOT is a software platform that combines medical group billing, scheduling, payroll, and general ledger data to provide analytics around patient access, physician deployment, practice productivity, patient demographics, support staffing levels, payer contracting and financial performance. The candidate will need to quickly become a subject matter expert on the software and data elements. The role of the Analyst is to actively participate within an engagement team to install the PIVOT software, determine our client's needs, analyze and interpret data, evaluate potential solutions, troubleshoot data issues, and assist in the overall delivery of value to our customers.

The Analyst will become an expert on the PIVOT software, database tables and structure, datasets, and calculated metrics. This position will work in a team environment and provide input and support to team deliverables and presentations during each phase of a project. Responsibilities will include:
* Troubleshooting data issues and discrepancies.
* Data gathering, testing, loading, mapping, and maintaining regular data feeds.
* Reviewing our website, excel based datasets, and SQL code and data tables to ensure accuracy of all metrics and mapping.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibility #1- 70%

  • Review data across all customers to ensure consistency and data accuracy.

  • Collaborate with Engagement Team to meet customers' needs and resolve concerns.

  • Support new installations of PIVOT by gathering, reviewing, loading, and mapping data.

  • Troubleshoot issues and surface inconsistencies for correction.

  • Deliver analytical content for projects

Responsibility #2 - 15%

  • Learn the PIVOT software, database structure, and all metrics calculated from the data provided by or customers.

Responsibility #3 - 10%

  • Participate in PIVOT team meetings to ensure positive delivery of PIVOT to our customers

Responsibility #4 - 5%

  • Complete all required training requirements on an annual basis

Required Qualifications

Work Experience:

Years of Applicable Experience - 2 or more years

Education:

High School Diploma or GED (Required)

Preferred Qualifications

Skills:

  • Advanced Excel skills

  • Demonstrated problem solving skills

  • Self-starter with ability to work in a collaborative team environment

Experience:

  • Intermediate SQL skills

  • Experience in healthcare, preferably in clinical practice or physician economics

  • Demonstrated interest in healthcare performance improvement

  • Demonstrated capability to lead and show value from their efforts

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree

Working Conditions: Remote Travel Requirements: Travel 1-20% within the US Physical Demands: Sedentary: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves remaining stationary most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if movement is required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met. Premier's compensation philosophy is to ensure that compensation is reasonable, equitable, and competitive in order to attract and retain talented and highly skilled employees. Premier's internal salary range for this role is $62,000 - $93,000. Final salary is dependent upon several market factors including, but not limited to, departmental budgets, internal equity, education, unique skills/experience, and geographic location. Premier utilizes a wide-range salary structure to allow base salary flexibility within our ranges.
