POSITION SPECIFICS

The Department of Electrical Engineering invites applications for part-time grader and lab assistant positions for the spring 2026 semester. Applicants should be enrolled in either the undergraduate or graduate Electrical Engineering program, or a closely related field. Responsibilities include providing grading support or classroom laboratory support, depending on the course. Lab assistants will assist with classroom laboratory support by working with the professor and/or teaching assistant to answer questions from students, monitoring student progress, debugging students' circuits and verifying data/measurements being taken. Applicants must have received at least a B in the given course or a similar course to apply. Duties for each position will vary based on the faculty needs. Applications will be received on an ongoing basis and reviewed as need arises.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
