Compensation Range: $42.25 - $47.75 hourly

    Primary Duties
    1.Works with vendors and supervisors and may order hardware including laptops, desktops, MDTs, VDI environments, printers, mobile mounting equipment, modems, antennas, and network equipment for employees in a geographical region or corporate locations.

    2.Identifies requirements for computer images and configurations to maximize productivity and reliability. May assist in the design, testing, and implementation of standard images.

    3.Provides project management on software/hardware upgrades and enhancements.

    4. Logs, troubleshoots, updates and follows through on incidents and requests, including incidents that are escalated, until final resolution is reached.

    5.May establish and or maintain wireless communications for field users including WMR, Handheld devices and Modems.

    6.Uses Software management tools to update and deliver software applications to field computer. Maintains security and encryption software.

    7.Participates on teams with other divisions or Shared Services to evaluate, deploy and support enterprise solutions.

    8.Acts as a liaison with end users to keep them advised regarding upcoming technology changes and strategies.

    9.Coordinates and assists with maintaining an inventory of company IT assets.

    10.May support telecom equipment including, phone systems and patch panel facilities in field offices and corporate offices.

    11.Assists in the implementation, testing, and configuration of corporate hardware and software computer systems.

    12.Evaluates, analyzes and resolves problems associated with maintaining high availability levels of hardware, laptops, tablets and, computer software to maintain enterprise standards.

    13.Coordinates with vendors or contractors to ensure proper implementation of hardware, related systems and, infrastructure.

    14.Keeps abreast of technology changes and makes recommendations on technical changes, training and, adoption rates to improve operating efficiencies.

    15.Provides training to field and corporate offices on desktops, laptops, Tablets, and basic software functionality.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS
    Education/Experience Level:

    1. Bachelor's degree in IT and two years related experience; or

    2. A general educational knowledge normally acquired through a high school diploma or a General Equivalency Diploma (GED) and four years related experience.

    3. Valid driver's license.

    Communication Skills:

    Requires the ability to communicate with internal and/or external customers in order to obtain and/or provide explanations and/or information on technical concepts to individuals with experience or knowledge of the technical area.

    Number Skills:

    Requires the ability to perform analyses involving ratios, percentages and comparisons.

    Computer Skills:

    Requires knowledge of various software applications to create documents, reports and/or graphics.

    Physical Demands:

    Ability to lift and carry 60 pounds from the ground to 34 inches. (Ex: lifting and carrying servers and equipment).

    Ability to lift 20 pounds from the ground to 72 inches. (Ex: lifting monitors and equipment to storage). Ability to lift 25 pounds from the ground to 57 inches. (Ex: lifting batteries and equipment).

    Ability to ascend/descend 3 rungs on a ladder.

    Ability to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and/or crouch.

    Work Conditions:

    Works in an indoor environment. Travel is required.

    Requires occasionally performing activities including, but not limited to, bending, stooping, grasping, reaching, twisting, turning and/or lifting objects up to 100 pounds (e.g. moving telephone and workstation equipment).
