As Strategic Pricing Manager, you will play a vital part in this process by providing hands-on support while developing our pricing analyst team to ensure continued excellence. Your Role: As a Strategic Pricing Manager within our Pricing Team, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
What We're Looking For:
Required Experience: A bachelor's degree is required, with preference given to candidates who have studied Accounting, Finance, or Economics. Applicants should have a minimum of seven years' experience in finance-related disciplines, ideally including analytics within a law firm or professional service industry; prior experience managing a team is preferred. Experience in a legal environment and a strong track record of supporting decision-makers and client-facing professionals on pricing strategy issues are desirable. Candidates must possess working knowledge of legal services pricing and alternative fee arrangements, as well as the ability to analyze financial data and prepare concise management reports. Proficiency in Excel, including v-lookups, pivot tables, and modeling, and other Microsoft Office applications is essential; experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI is also desired. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required for effective engagement and collaboration, along with experience in process design and implementation. The salary range for this position is from $130,000 - $155,000, which reflects the Firm's good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual pay will depend on several factors such as the candidate's experience, qualifications, and location. Ballard Spahr offers an excellent benefits package.
