Excellent opportunity to join a growing team of Physicians!

The Division of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery in the Department of Surgery at NYU Langone Hospital-Suffolk is seeking a fellowship-trained Trauma and Surgery Critical Care Surgeon to join our ACS-COT verified, NY State designated Level 2 Trauma Center. The successful candidate will possess outstanding clinical skills, a strong interest in education and research, and must qualify for a faculty appointment at New York University Grossman Long Island School of Medicine (NYU GLISOM). Responsibilities will include trauma, surgical critical care, and emergency general surgery coverage at a rapidly growing tertiary care center. Opportunities for elective general surgery exist and are encouraged. Robust clinical and basic science research opportunities are also available and strongly encouraged.

This is an exciting time for the institution and successful candidates will have the opportunity to demonstrate strong leadership qualities.

The salary range will be 300k-350k.

The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. Actual salary may not fall within the listed salary range; consideration will be made for experience, training, hospital/community need, and other factors.

QUALIFICATIONS -
* Board Certified/Eligible in General Surgery
* Board Certified/Eligible in Surgical Critical Care (Fellowship trained)

Additional training in an ACS fellowship highly desired
