The American Hospital Association (AHA) is a national organization that represents and serves all types of hospitals, health care networks, and their patients and communities. The AHA has two main offices, located in Washington, D.C. and Chicago. We are currently seeking a Managing Editor, Market Intelligence for our Chicago office. This position is a hybrid role (three days in the office, two days working remote). Starting base salary = $102,000- $128,000- $154,000 (commensurate with related experience). The AHA is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. A candidate's salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and location. The Managing Editor, Market Intelligence is responsible for the development, execution, and overall quality of the editorial vision for market intelligence content, which may include e-newsletters, e-books, reports, webinars, and live event content. Develop content related to market intelligence offerings. Write, edit, and proofread content, leveraging analytics to optimize performance. Manage all editorial aspects from content creation through print production, web posting and dissemination of content through electronic newsletters and other formats. Collaborate with freelancers, digital marketing and production teams as needed to execute projects on schedule and according to established budgets. Cultivate relationships with freelancers, business partners and internal and external subject matter experts (SMEs) as related to content development.
