How can you make an impact?

The Data Ethics Policy Senior Analyst will work with the Chief Data Ethics Officer to ensure the continued development, implementation, maintenance, and enforcement of a global data ethics program to support the business and the organization's privacy and AI governance requirements. Specifically, the role will be primarily responsible for ongoing development and maintenance of documented implementation guidance for the business, related training and awareness programs, the Data Ethics incident management program, and management of the Data Ethics Team's email accounts and documentation and ticketing systems. In addition, the role with work specifically with the International and Professional business units on privacy and AI Governance related issues.

This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States.

What you will be doing:

  • Guidance Development: Develop clear, actionable guidance to business units on implementing AI and privacy requirements effectively.
  • Intranet and Documentation Management: Oversee the data ethics team's intranet and documentation platforms, including Spark, SharePoint, and Confluence, ensuring accessibility and accuracy of resources.
  • Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on AI, privacy, and HIPAA policies, fostering awareness and adherence across the organization.
  • Ticketing System and Communication Management: Manage the data ethics ticketing system in ServiceNow and monitor privacy and data ethics email accounts to address inquiries and issues promptly.
  • Incident Management Programs: Maintain AI and privacy incident management programs to respond effectively to breaches or ethical concerns.
  • Business Unit Support: Provide tailored privacy and AI guidance to the International and Professional business units, addressing unique challenges and regulatory requirements within the education sector.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Bachelor's Degree required, Masters Degree in Data Ethics/AI/ Privacy/ Legal or related fields preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in Privacy and/or AI governance (5+ years preferred), with relevant certifications valued.
  • Strong knowledge of global privacy and AI laws (e.g., GDPR, EU AI Act) and related compliance frameworks.
  • Proven ability to advise business units on privacy and AI requirements with a practical, implementation-focused approach.
  • Experienced in designing and delivering training programs for diverse audiences.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, integrity, and professionalism in handling confidential matters.
  • Demonstrated success managing cross-functional projects, documentation sites (SharePoint, Confluence, Spark), and communication channels.
  • Skilled with ServiceNow and other ticketing systems to streamline workflow management.
  • Highly organized, technically adept, and self-directed, showing initiative, dependability, and strong judgment.

The pay range for this position is between $78,430-$100,000 annually. However, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
