How can you make an impact?

The Data Ethics Risk Program Manager is responsible for overseeing and enhancing the organization's AI and privacy risk management programs. This role involves maintaining vendor AI and privacy risk due diligence processes, privacy and data transfer risk assessments, cookie and tracking technology programs, and overall AI and privacy program risk assessments. The position also includes managing the data ethics team's OneTrust platform and providing expert guidance on privacy and AI matters to the corporate departments.

This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States.

What you will be doing:

  • Vendor AI and Privacy Risk Due Diligence: Maintain and optimize the vendor risk assessment program to ensure compliance with AI ethics and privacy standards.
  • Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs): Manage the privacy impact assessment process across the organization to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Data Transfer Risk Assessments: Establish and manage processes for assessing risks associated with international data transfers, ensuring compliance with global regulations.
  • Program Risk Assessment: Lead the development and execution of an annual Data Ethics program risk assessment to identify vulnerabilities and drive mitigation strategies.
  • OneTrust Platform Management: Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and performance of the Data Ethics team's OneTrust platform to support risk management and compliance efforts.
  • Cookie and Tracking Technology Program: Manage cookie and tracking technology compliance, ensuring adherence to global privacy regulations.
  • Corporate Department Guidance: Provide tailored privacy and AI guidance to corporate departments, ensuring alignment with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Bachelor's Degree required, Masters Degree in Data Ethics/AI/ Privacy/ Legal or related fields preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in risk management, ideally within Privacy and/or AI governance.
  • Strong grasp of AI ethics, GDPR/CCPA compliance, and risk management frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with privacy tools like OneTrust (configuration, optimization) and TrustARC preferred.
  • Skilled in conducting privacy impact and data transfer risk assessments.
  • Proven ability to design and execute vendor due diligence programs.
  • Knowledge of cookie/tracking ecosystems and related opt-in/opt-out requirements.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management skills for complex risk programs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication to translate technical risk concepts clearly.

The pay range for this position is between $103,345-$135,000 annually. However, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. An annual bonus plan may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered.
