Tesla Insurance is seeking a dedicated and experienced Auto Claims Trainer to join our team. This role is pivotal in designing, developing, and delivering comprehensive training programs for claims adjusters and support staff. The Auto Claims Trainer ensures that team members are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to handle auto insurance claims efficiently and accurately while aligning with Tesla's commitment to exceptional customer experience and innovation. As the first point of contact for many new employees, this position plays a key role in embodying the Tesla Insurance brand through professionalism and setting a positive tone for the team.


What You'll Do
  • Design and conduct engaging training sessions for new hires and ongoing professional development for existing claims staff
  • Provide one-on-one coaching and feedback to enhance claims handling techniques and customer interaction skills
  • Educate staff on Tesla Insurance's unique claims processes, including handling claims for vehicles with advanced technology features
  • Ensure compliance with state-specific insurance regulations and company standards during training
  • Assess trainees' progress through quizzes, role-playing scenarios, and practical evaluations to confirm readiness for independent work
  • Collaborate with management to identify skill gaps and develop targeted training solutions
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and Tesla vehicle technology advancements to maintain relevant training content

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in auto insurance claims handling or training roles
  • Strong understanding of insurance regulations and compliance requirements across multiple states
  • Familiarity with advanced vehicle technologies and their impact on claims processes
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for delivering engaging training sessions
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback and coaching to diverse team members
  • Commitment to maintaining a professional appearance and representing the Tesla brand positively
