Minimum Qualifications: Intermediate Level: * A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, social/behavioral sciences, physical sciences, business, business administration, healthcare administration, or a directly related field from an accredited institution. o A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year-for-year basis. * One (1) year of professional level experience in a business or financial analysis role. Senior Level: * A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, social/behavioral sciences, physical sciences, business, business administration, healthcare administration, or a directly related field from an accredited institution. o A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year-for-year basis. * Two (2) years of professional level experience in a business or financial analysis role. Principle Level: * A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, social/behavioral sciences, physical sciences, business, business administration, healthcare administration, or a directly related field from an accredited institution. o A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year-for-year basis. * Three (3) years of professional level experience in a business or financial analysis role. Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience in research post-award grant administration, particularly accounting and/or finance responsibilities. * Experience with financial reporting, ledger interpretations, procurement systems, and PeopleSoft HCM and Finance * Concur Travel and Expense System experience. * Experience in interpreting and applying post-award policies from a variety of funding structures (federal, state, foundation, and institutional) and serving as a resource to others. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Knowledge of the regulatory policies associated with the post-award administration of federal and private foundation grants. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). * Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. * Ability to remain detail-oriented with changing priorities. * Adaptability to grant-specific guidelines and the needs of different Principal Investigators (PIs). * Ability to work independently following training. * Outstanding problem-solving, logical reasoning, and analytical thinking. * Ability to collaborate and form effective working relationships. |
