Working ORP Retiree - PRN Family Physician

Job Summary:

The clinician (MD or DO) in this position will function as a PRN family medicine faculty member without clinical responsibilities.

Teaching and Mentoring

* Provide mentoring to faculty.

Administrative/Professional Development

* Maintain eligibility for School of Medicine Retired Faculty.

* Keep abreast of the latest developments in field, both academically and through applied skill.

* Attend and present at conferences, meetings and trainings in order to maintain certification and enhance professional skills; participate in faculty development activities.

* Accept other responsibilities assigned by the Chair and Vice Chair for Research

Work Location:

Onsite - this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, CO.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

* Education: Terminal degree in Medicine or Osteopathy (MD or DO). Board Certified in Family Medicine.

* Experience: Graduation from an accredited Family Medicine Residency program and 7+ years' experience working in primary care.

* Special Skills: Ability to obtain Colorado Medical License and possession of a current DEA Certificate. Ability to be fully credentialed with the UCH system and UPI Managed Care. Ability to meet the School of Medicine's criteria for associate professor.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience or interest in education and research and faculty development.

The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE:

The hiring rate for this position is $ 146.09/hour.

The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.

The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt.
