DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION Perform parking enforcement duties and issue parking citations for violations of hospital and campus parking regulations including but not limited to, checking all applicable parking areas for infractions against parking policy, issuing citations to vehicles. Act as a liaison between University of Missouri Parking and Transportation (MU P&T) and MUHC to support health care customers, staff, and management. Coordinate needed repairs, maintenance, and work ticket submissions related to parking lots, structures, shuttles/vans for properly maintaining parking equipment and hardware. Handle parking and traffic complaints and concerns of hospital community and guests with tact and diplomacy. Including but not limited to; investigating vehicular concerns, non-registered vehicles, processing citations, appeals, grievances, and general customer support. Timely processing of appeals coordinated with MU P&T for staff, faculty, and students' citations. Support parking services team on activities and duties, including but not limited to - assisting visitors entering and exiting the parking structures, monitoring lot volumes and capacity, directing staff and vendors to correct assigned parking locations. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities can be acquired. Two (2) years of customer service or related experience. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department. This position is very active and may require ambulating, remaining in a stationary position and positioning self to reach and/or move objects above the shoulders and below the knees.
