About the Role
General Dynamics Land Systems Co-op Program is hiring for rotations starting in fall of 2024 and winter of 2025. The engineering co-op will perform various responsibilities depending on the organization in which they are placed. This role will begin in the Integrated Systems: Human Factor Engineering.

Other primary functional areas for rotation this rotation, but are not limited to the following:
  • Systems Engineering
  • System Safety Engineering
  • Human Factors Engineering

Responsibilities to Anticipate for this Rotation:
  • Write requirements and perform verification/testing to cover human factors engineering.
  • Learn human factors engineering practices and methods.
  • May have opportunity to create a human model using Jack software.

Qualifications Sought
  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree majoring in either Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering or Human Factors Engineering,
  • Must currently be a full-time student at accredited University/College
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Preferred - GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Must successfully pass standard pre-employment screens and must provide an official university transcript before their first day of employment.

Additional Information / Desired Experience
  • This position may require eligibility to obtain a US security clearance. (Non-US Citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance).
  • Must demonstrate good written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
