Work Schedule: This is a1.0 FTE, hybrid position. During the expected 6-month training period, the selected individual will be expected to work an 8-hour shift between 8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday. There is additional schedule flexibility once the employee is fully trained. Employees on this team could be required to work onsite once per week. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. The location for onsite work is 7974 UW Health Ct in Middleton, WI. - Follow up with third party payers and patients on outstanding account balances (including credit balances) to facilitate prompt resolution of outstanding account balances.
- Verify patient coverage information and update registration as required.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent Required
- Associate's Degree in Business, Finance, Health Information Management, or related field Preferred
Work Experience
- 1 year of experience in an insurance, finance, medical, hospital, or customer service-related field. Required
- Revenue Cycle (healthcare business, financial or insurance) experience, Epic experience & Knowledge of medical and insurance terminology, CPT, ICD coding structures, and billing forms (UB, 1500) Preferred
