Job Summary

  • Monitors and evaluates financial and productivity information to achieve operational benchmarks.
  • Fosters the learning and development of staff to fulfill the current and future requirements of individuals and the organization.
  • Collaborates with other departments to identify and resolve operational and patient care issues.
  • Actively supports and promotes the shared mission and vision of Norman Regional Health System to achieve strategic goals.
  • Develops and promotes employee satisfaction to facilitate positive patient and physician/provider outcomes.
  • Collaborates with Providers, transferring facilities, and other departments to maintain the compliance and integrity of inpatient hospitalization status.

Qualifications

Education

  • Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN), Preferred Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) or bachelor's degree in related field. Master's degree preferred.

Experience

  • Prefer three years of progressive management experience.
  • Must have 3-5 years of experience with thorough knowledge of IPPS and other CMS regulations working with quality, CDI, UR and coding in an acute care facility in a leadership role. Knowledge of coding guidelines for ICD-10-CM/PCS and CPT, compliance for inpatient and outpatient documentation, medical necessity functions viewed favorably.

(Above requirements can be met by equivalent combination of education and experience)

Licensure/Certification/Registration/ETC.

  • If candidate is an RN, must have a valid current RN license in the State of Oklahoma.
  • Clinical Documentation or Coding certification viewed favorably.

Compensation/Benefits

  • $42.85-$69.99/hr depending on previous work experience.
