What you'll be doing

Your Role: Global Product Marketing Manager - ICU Beds

In this strategic role, you'll be responsible for the global upstream marketing efforts for our ICU beds portfolio, a $200M business. You'll help drive portfolio growth through cross-functional alignment in a matrixed environment, helping shape global strategy, and ensuring alignment across regions.

Market and Competitive Intelligence

  • Cultivate a deep and nuanced understanding of global market dynamics, competitive insights, and industry trends to drive innovation and growth.
  • Leverage strong data analytics to size markets, define growth rates, and inform strategic decisions.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape, including market positioning, strategies, and tactics of key competitors.
  • Conduct and apply market research to uncover trends, challenges, and opportunities that inform business strategy.

Strategic Collaboration and Cross-Functional Engagement

  • Engage with medical affairs to develop evidence strategies that support product differentiation and implement evidence plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize customer opportunities and develop innovative solutions.
  • Partner with regional marketing teams to stay ahead of market developments, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
  • Work closely with the device connectivity team to understand and integrate connectivity opportunities into product roadmaps.

Portfolio and Product Strategy

  • Provide insights to support development of comprehensive roadmaps encompassing growth opportunities (organic and inorganic), evidence generation, and geographical expansion.
  • Identify opportunities to build intellectual property that protects differentiated solutions and roadmap innovations.
  • Build connectivity strategies into new-to-market solutions to enhance customer value.
Lifecycle and Portfolio Management
  • Manage the lifecycle of products, including launches, phase-outs, incremental improvements, and line extensions.
  • Explore new markets & geographies for portfolio expansion.
  • Assist the strategy and analytics team by analyzing portfolio health, planning strategically, and rationalizing production.
Travel Requirements
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 30% of the time, including both domestic and international travel.
What you'll bring
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
  • 4+ years experience in product management and/or marketing within a life sciences organization-ideally in medical devices, diagnostics, or capital equipment.
  • 1+ years of experience in an upstream or global marketing capacity is preferred.
  • Demonstrated global experience and perspective, with an understanding of international markets and cross-cultural collaboration.
  • Experience in product life cycle management, including the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, defend, and implement comprehensive marketing plans that drive growth and support global product launches.
  • Critical thinking to analyze markets, competitors, and business opportunities in guiding strategic decisions.
  • Creative problem-solving capabilities and a history of delivering data-driven insights.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional and multi-national teams, including senior partners across R&D, commercial, and customer-facing functions.
  • Proven success working independently and navigating ambiguity in dynamic environments.
  • History of getting results through collaboration and influence, even across globally dispersed teams.
  • Strong learning agility and business acumen, particularly within the healthcare industry.
  • Self-motivated with a track record of delivering outcomes in fast-paced environments.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $104,000 - 143,000. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position is also eligible for discretionary bonuses.
