Who We Are Looking For
Crisis24 is hiring a Supply Chain Intelligence Analyst based in King of Prussia, PA, to join our Embedded Intelligence Services division, supporting a leading biotechnology company. Under the Crisis24 Program Manager's general supervision, the Supply Chain Intelligence Analyst will perform global threat monitoring, investigative research, and produce tailored intelligence products for a diverse range of stakeholders.
The role will be focused on supply chain threats and vulnerabilities, but the candidate will also be performing work as a generalist intelligence analyst and must therefore be experienced and adept at broader corporate security and threat intelligence functions.
The role is an in-office position at the client's headquarters. Flexibility in location may be considered for the correct candidate.
What You Will Work On
Supply Chain Intelligence (60%)
- Monitor, assess, and report on geopolitical, security, regulatory, and economic developments impacting global and regional supply chains, in addition to client business operations and personnel
- Work closely with stakeholders to map and analyze client supply chain networks and understand vulnerabilities and threats
- Deliver timely, actionable intelligence assessments tailored to client supply chain networks and priorities
- Conduct horizon threat scanning and produce strategic analysis on emerging developments with the potential to impact client supply chains
- Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate supply chain intelligence into business continuity, procurement, and logistics planning
- Participate in crisis response by providing rapid assessments of supply chain impacts during disruptive events
- Contribute to cross-functional intelligence reporting, providing supply chain perspectives on wider security and geopolitical developments
- Maintain subject matter expertise on global trade, logistics, and supply chain security best practices
- Identify gaps and proactively suggest improvements to intelligence production
Generalist Intelligence (40%)
- Research and collect intelligence from open-source platforms, including news, social media, public records, forums, and data bases for global and regional events that could affect client business and personnel
- Monitor open-source content for emerging threats to the company's people, assets, and reputation
- Analyze gathered intelligence to assess potential impacts on the company's operations
- Produce threat assessments based on open-source data and intelligence findings
- Support the production and delivery of daily, weekly, and ad hoc intelligence products that support client decision-making at tactical, operational, and strategic levels
- Create concise and actionable reports, presentations, and briefings tailored to senior leadership or relevant stakeholders
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of intelligence products through continuous data validation, source vetting, and cross-referencing
- Stay updated on the latest trends in intelligence gathering and analysis techniques, adopting innovative tools where appropriate
- Prioritize key intelligence findings based on relevance, reliability, and potential impact on operations and master a range of analytical techniques
- Track and report metrics around production and deliverables
Who You Will Work With
The analyst joins an established, dedicated small analyst team within the larger Crisis24 Embedded Intelligence Services division. The individual will collaborate with Crisis24 intelligence and security peers, the dedicated team, and the client.
What You Will Bring
- Bachelors' degree required; Masters' degree preferred
- 4+ years of experience in intelligence production, threat assessment, incident response, research and investigations, or a related field required
- Demonstrated experience supporting or analyzing global supply chain operations, with a strong understanding of global trade, logistics networks, and supply chain risks and dependencies required
- Proven ability to collect, evaluate, and analyze multi-source information to identify threats and vulnerabilities to business supply chains or operations
- Demonstrated experience writing concisely in a professional setting, preferably in a fast-paced environment
- Proven experience in OSINT, social media monitoring, or intelligence analysis roles
- Ability to collect data and synthesize incomplete and contradictory information
- Superb judgement and critical thinking
- Ability to take initiative and identify areas of improvement for own development, the team, and the program
- Effective problem-solving and time-management skills
- Ability to take ownership of supply chain intelligence functions and work independently
