Position Summary
Western Carolina University is looking for qualified part-time (adjunct) faculty to teach in the Doctor of Nursing Practice Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program. These appointments are on a course-by-course basis. Salary is commensurate with education and experience.


Preference will be given to candidates who can demonstrate a commitment to public engagement through their teaching, service, and scholarship.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required for this Position
Minimum Qualifications
Doctoral degree in Nursing, Degree must be from an appropriately accredited institution. PMHNP board certified with a minimum of two years' experience.


Preferred Qualifications
Experience teaching in a PMHNP program.
