Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Employee Services Coordinator to lead and support key personnel functions including onboarding, compliance, payroll support, unemployment claims, and drug-free workplace initiatives. This role ensures fair and consistent administration of employee policies and procedures while serving as a trusted resource for field and office teams.

Key Responsibilities

Daily/Weekly Priorities



  • Manage onboarding and new hire processes, including E-Verify and documentation compliance
  • Administer personnel changes (status, pay, tax info, direct deposit)
  • Assist with payroll reporting (time off requests, leave of absence, terminations)
  • Support field and division offices and job sites with personnel-related functions as needed, including but not limited to, proactively supporting hiring and onboarding needs of new and existing job sites, assisting with on-site onboarding, scheduling drug screenings and background checks.
  • Respond to employment verification and employee inquiries


Monthly/Quarterly Priorities



  • Generate and distribute random drug test reports
  • Monitor and manage drug testing supplies and follow-up actions
  • Process unemployment claims and participate in hearings
  • Maintain vacation/sick leave records and ensure timely documentation
  • Assist with bulletin board updates and personnel communications


Additional Duties



  • Act as a single point of contact for employee services inquiries
  • Support retention, career development, performance management, and recruitment strategies
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies
  • Scan, index, and verify employee documentation in electronic systems
  • Assist the benefits team with inquiries on eligibility and benefit plans


Qualifications



  • College degree in Human Resources or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 3 years of HR experience required
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and HR best practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
  • Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through skills
