ECN Administrator/Designer 1 - MCAD
Primary Responsibilities:
- Review and release initial and revised drawings, BOMs and engineering change notices and identify changes from old revisions to new revisions
- Transfer BOM attributes utilizing Windchill 12.0(+) & export to ERP
- Review and release process plans, test documents and manufacturing documents
- Monitor ECN status until it has been implemented and assist in resolving any issues
- Track and submit data items per our customers' requirements
- Create and distribute PLM reports on documentation status, product release/change status, and other reports
- Manage daily requests to support users with data item inquiries
- Update and maintain files for engineering drawings, Engineering Change Notices and other related documentation
- Update process and work instructions as required
- Read, analyze and interpret instructions and technical procedures
- Prepare fully annotated drawings of parts and assemblies from 3D Assembly models
- Prepare CAD drawings from redline markups & incorporate ECN's
- Interpret industry design and drafting standards
- Utilize Creo to model and redraw manual drawings
Qualification/Knowledge/Skills Required:
- Associates degree or equivalent
- Zero to two years of experience in the field of engineering document control
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills, required for multi-faceted interactions with all levels of personnel within the organization
- Strong computer literacy, with MS Office/PC expertise, Adobe Acrobat
- Experience with Creo 9.0(+) and Windchill 12.0 (+)
- Demonstrated Creo drawing and solid modeling experience
Training Required:
- Creo/Windchill certification preferred but not mandatory
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
- This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely involves standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines
- This is a full-time position. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand
- No travel is expected for this position
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to see, talk and hear
- The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms, and to use hands to handle or feel
- The employee is frequently required to sit at length, stand, walk, and move about the facility
- The employee may be required to lift and/or move items weighing up to 20 pounds
- Some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary

This position is at our Parsippany, NJ corporate offices location.
Pay Range: $65,000 - $75,000 annually
