Job Summary:
The Performance Nutrition Operations Coordinator plays an essential role in supporting the Performance Nutrition department to develop, implement, and oversee a comprehensive program within Wisconsin Athletics that aligns with the overall goals and mission of the athletic department. This position assists with the daily management of foodservice and training table operations, including inventory, ordering, and student-staff oversight, while also coordinating team meal logistics and communication with Levy staff. The role offers opportunities to build leadership and management skills, manage budgets, and gain valuable experience in collegiate athletics. This position reports directly to the Director of Performance Nutrition. Key areas of focus include:
Athletics, Performance Nutrition Compensation:The minimum salary of this position is $48,107, depending on qualifications and experience. Required Qualifications:- Administratively self-sufficient; proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as Google Sheets and Drive. - Ability to Kneel, crouch, lift, carry, and move inventory up to 50 lbs. Preferred Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree in a related field, such as Nutrition or Hospitality, from an accredited institution preferred. - Ability to work cooperatively and build strong working relationships with diverse groups, including administrators, faculty, staff, students, and alumni - Work well independently and in a team(s) - Ability to be flexible in accepting new responsibilities - Excellent communication skills to work with student-athletes, coaches, and support staff - Knowledge of and experience with NCAA and Big Ten rules - At least one (1) year of related supervisory and/or foodservice experience - Experience working within sports nutrition (collegiate or professional) Education:H.S.
