Drone Pilot 1

Acuren has an exciting opportunity to advance your career as a Drone Pilot focused on inspection, safety and quality supporting our Unmanned Inspection operations.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Drone Pilot has overall responsibility for the operations of Acuren at the customer site. This includes but is not limited to compliance (safety, QA, etc). The Drone Pilot will conduct flight operations, ground based data acquisition, inspections, quality assurance, and reporting.

Perform specialized drone inspections at customer sites
• Organize and report inspection results
• Instruct and supervise others
• Interface daily with the client about work priorities and progress of projects
• Handle project scheduling and execution
• Actively participate in client programs, planning and strategy sessions
• Site safety management
• Participate in performance management

• UAV Operator experience - fixed wing, rotor, or multirotor.
• Previous leadership experience an asset
• Current FAA Part 107 certificate
• Experience in confined space inspections, oil and gas, LiDAR, 3D Modeling, Mapping and utility infrastructure inspections.
• Experience with a wide variety of sensors, (LiDAR, EO/IR Cameras, OGI and Multi/Hyperspectral)
• Ability pass hair follicle drug screening and federal background check
• Experience with GIS/CAD based databases a plus
• NDT experience highly desired
