Job Description

The Director of Project Management will be responsible for developing and executing TPO programs under our HR as a Product operating model, which treats HR capabilities as integrated, user-centered solutions designed to deliver business value. This role will oversee the initiatives that will include Job Architecture, Position Management, and other foundational programs that drive workforce effectiveness, organizational clarity, and talent optimization.

What you will be doing

The candidate will be managing a team of project manager that will partner up with HR Business Partners, TPO Teams and Executive stakeholders to manage and support talent initiatives aligned to FIS' goals and objectives. With a continuous improvement approach, you will be required to stay update on market trends, optimizing talent technologies and deliver complex, enterprise-wide initiatives that align with our strategic priorities and deliver measurable impact. Your activities will include:

  • Map operating models, build value cases, and oversee integrated roadmaps.

  • Lead change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of new processes and tools.

  • Develop and maintain program roadmaps, charters, and governance structures.

  • Define program scope, objectives, timelines, and success metrics.

  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.

  • Maintain discipline through governance, metrics, and transparent reporting.

  • Aligned Products & Programs - Ensure HR transformation efforts are integrated and tied to enterprise priorities.

  • Works with senior management to understand existing and future needs and develop plans to meet those needs.

  • Lead adoption planning for HR products, ensuring solutions are embedded, sticky, and self-sustaining.

  • Communicate program vision, progress, and outcomes effectively across all levels of the organization.

  • Present portfolio and project updates to senior leadership on a routine basis, translating data into actionable insights. Provide dashboards, executive summaries, and outcome-focused reporting.

  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of project managers/analysts, fostering accountability, trust, and execution excellence.

  • Partner with HR Product Owners, Business Leaders, and Technology teams to ensure seamless execution.

What you bring:

  • Experience in project/program management, preferably within HR or organizational development.

  • Proven record of driving HR or enterprise transformation initiatives in complex, global organizations.

  • Proficiency with project management tools

  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills to foster collaboration across the organization, including peers and stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as relationship building, conflict resolution and influencing skills to mitigate HR-related risks to protect the organization.

  • Good written, communication and presentation skills to effectively represent the company and interact with employees and internal customers.

  • High integrity and personal credibility; ability to always maintain confidentiality.
