Summary of Position

The Supply Chain Intern will provide support within the Supply Chain team, review MRP system for material readiness, review processes and procedures, making recommended updates, running and creating various reports.

Position Responsibilities

  • Follows up and expedites procurement of material through Procurement Department and support departments, etc. to ensure that orders are available on the required date
  • Communicate daily, both written and verbally, with team members.
  • Maintains records, charts, graphs, logs and progress reports as required
  • Assists in preparation of regular and special reports, inventories, etc. for both internal and external analysis
  • Assists the Supply Chain Manager or Master Planner, as needed, regarding development of, or changes to, Supply Chain processes and procedures
  • Performs material analysis utilizing MRP system per defined guidelines in order to sustain the planned schedule for each production order.
  • Monitors material status on upcoming production orders.
  • Abides by the Company standard practices and procedures are followed in connection with all materials department functions.
  • Assists other team members, as needed, to ensure customer needs are met

Education: Current student pursuing degree in Supply Chain, Business, or similar degree

Physical Location: Winona, MN - East

Shift: 1st

Work Schedule: M-F 0800-1630

Part Time

Compensation Range: $18.50 to $21 USD Many factors are considered in compensation decisions, including but not limited to skills, certifications, licensures, experience, training, incumbent data, and other business needs.
