This data-driven, detail-oriented individual, as part of the Supply Chain Management team, will be responsible for managing and analyzing the flow of materials within the Franklin location to ensure timely availability for production. This is a high-impact, visible role that involves forecasting material needs, optimizing inventory levels, coordinating with supplies, and supporting cost-effective procurement strategies that will minimize delays in production.
This position reports to the Materials Manager, is onsite, and is based in Franklin, NH.

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Analyze and forecast material requirements based on production schedules and business needs.
  • Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
  • Coordinate with procurement and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Conduct regular audits of inventory and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Utilize ERP and MRP systems to manage material data and track performance.
  • Develop and maintain supplier relationships to negotiate pricing and delivery terms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, finance, engineering) to align material planning with organizational goals.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards for senior management on material usage, costs, and performance metrics.
  • Identify and implement process improvements in material handling and inventory control.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies
  • Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by Materials Manager or Company management.
  • Travel Requirements: up to 10%

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in materials planning, inventory control, or supply chain analytics.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems - SAP and data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures, as applicable.
  • Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks and required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.

Working Conditions:

While performing the job duties, you will be working on-site at a manufacturing facility and will perform the majority of your duties in both office and manufacturing environments. You will be required to wear the appropriate personal protective equipment. You will be required to work in the office at the Franklin, NH location (Monday - Friday). Your scheduled work hours will be communicated to you by your manager.

  • Ability to remain seated at a desk or workstation for extended periods.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks like typing on a keyboard or using a mouse for extended periods.
  • Ability to physically move around the office, organize or transport files, packages, or other office-related materials.
  • Ability to read documents, use a computer, and perform data entry tasks.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with management and coworkers, particularly in meetings or phone calls.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment such as computers, printers, phones, and copiers.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and carry light objects, such as office supplies, documents, or small equipment.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment, which may include, but is not limited to, safety shoes, hearing protection, and safety glasses.
