Vault Specialist

The Vault Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining the operational integrity of the bank by ensuring the accurate and efficient management of cash resources. This position is responsible for overseeing vault operations, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with all banking regulations and policies.

Job Responsibilities

1. Vault Management

* Maintain and oversee the vault, ensuring all cash and coin are accurately accounted for and secured.

* Conduct regular audits to verify the accuracy of vault balances.

2. Change Order Processing

* Process change order requests for business and branch clients with accuracy and efficiency.

* Ensure timely delivery and resolution of discrepancies related to change orders.

3. Funds Ordering and Distribution

* Order cash and coin supplies from the Federal Reserve to meet the needs of all company branches.

* Process and coordinate internal cash buys and sells between the vault and front-line staff.

4. ATM and ITM Operations

* Balance ATMs Daily

* Balance ITM (Interactive Teller Machine) weekly deposits.

* Ensure adequate cash is stocked in ATMs to meet customer demand.

5. Coin Machine Management

* Balance and reconcile coin machines, ensuring accurate and efficient handling of customer transactions.

6. Compliance and Reporting

* Adhere to all federal, state, and bank-specific regulations and policies related to vault operations and cash handling.

* Prepare and submit regular reports on vault activities, cash flows, and compliance matters.

7. Other duties as assigned.
