Position Overview
Primary Purpose of Position |
The primary purpose of the position is to provide direction and management of all financial activity for the division of Student Affairs.
Successful fiscal management is critical to ensure that goods, personnel and services are provided in the best interest of students and enrich student life while students are pursuing degrees.
The campus is multi-cultured and requires innovation and progressive methods to maintain attractive facilities as well as personnel to service student and staff requests. |
Primary Function of Organizational Unit |
The senior management team is responsible for the leadership, direction, supervision and evaluation of the following units in the Division of Student Affairs (12): Housing & Residence Life, Counseling Center, Student Health Center, Office of Leadership and Engagement, Student Center , Judicial Affairs, Student Activities, , A &T Blue & Gold Marching Band and Administration.
The team works collaboratively with our campus and community partners to transform students' potential to accomplish their academic and career goals in a diverse and inclusive learning community. |
Minimum Requirements |
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or related business area and three years of professional accounting experience, of which at least one is supervisory; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. |

- Bachelor Degree preferred. 5-10 years in the UNC system with 3-5 years as a department supervisor.
- Intermediate proficiency with Banner 9, Aggie Mart (Jaggaer), and Emburse Enterprise (Chrome River).
- Relevant 3-5 years of experience in administration, business, and or finances at a college/university setting or other not-for-profit industries.
- Strong knowledge and experience using technology-based business and personnel systems management systems in a college or university setting.
- Prior experience processing and or managing internal and external financial resources (e.g., state, non-state, gifts, federal grants, etc.).
