About the Role

The Treasury Management Product Manager plays a strategic role in shaping and executing the bank's Treasury Management product vision. This position leverages analytical, technical, and operational expertise to lead the development and management of the TM product roadmap, ensuring alignment with the bank's long-term goals and market opportunities. The Product Manager oversees the full product lifecycle-from discovery and design to implementation and performance tracking-while driving cross-functional collaboration, customer-centric innovation, and go-to-market success. This role also serves as a subject matter expert, staying current on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies to deliver best-in-class solutions that meet client needs and enhance profitability.

This position requires the exercise of discretion and independent judgment, within the scope of the individual's authority, with respect to matters of significance to the Bank.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

Key Contributor to Product Roadmap:

    Partner with the Treasury Management Product & Support Director to shape and execute the strategy for Treasury Management products. Lead the development and day-to-day management of the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with the bank's long-term vision and market opportunities.

Spearhead Product Lifecycle:

  • Oversee and actively participate in the full product lifecycle-from initial requirements discovery and solution design to development, user acceptance testing (UAT), and implementation. Drive quality and efficiency through hands-on involvement in product testing, workflow enhancements, and process improvements.

Proactively Identify Opportunities and Risks:

  • Continuously identify key capabilities needed for the TM Suite, proactively address potential issues, and evaluate new opportunities to enhance existing products and services.

Drive Strategic Alignment:

  • Partner regularly with cross-functional teams including Sales, IT, Operations, and Compliance to ensure alignment on product prioritization, feature development, and delivery timelines.

Champion Customer-Centric Design:

  • Lead efforts to develop user personas and conduct user research and usability studies to ensure all TM products meet customer needs and deliver best-in-class user experience.

Enable Go-to Market Success:

  • Develop product descriptions, implementation guides, procedures, and training materials. Provide comprehensive training to Sales teams and internal partners to ensure effective product positioning and sales enablement.

Contribute to Go-to-Market Strategy:

  • Assist in developing product marketing initiatives including positioning, messaging, and differentiation from competitors to ensure successful product launches and market adoption.

Manage Product Performance and Profitability:

  • Define, track, and manage product key performance indicators (KPIs), conduct trend analysis, and contribute to product pricing strategies to drive continuous improvement and profitability.

Resolve Issues and Maintain Service Excellence:

  • Leverage product knowledge to investigate and resolve issues, escalating when appropriate, while maintaining a high level of customer service and operational integrity.

Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME):

  • Conduct ongoing market research and analysis to stay informed of industry trends, emerging technologies, and customer preferences. Maintain deep technical and regulatory knowledge of the Treasury Management landscape, ensuring all product initiatives comply with relevant standards and drive innovation.

Drive Vendor Collaboration and Performance Insights:

  • Collaborate with TM vendors, Operations, and other stakeholders to support product upgrades, innovation initiatives, and performance reporting. Engage external partners-including trade associations and vendors-to resolve issues, gather insights, and enhance product capabilities.
  • Assists with audit and compliance inquiries and requirements


Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Product Manager in Treasury Management solutions or a similar role in the banking or financial services industry, demonstrating success in taking an idea from concept to fully launched solution.
  • Programming and/or software support experience is highly desired.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required Business online banking operations experience required.
  • Familiarity with Treasury Management products and services.
  • Strong customer service experience with demonstrated communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to respond quickly and efficiently to telephone and/or e-mail requests.
  • Familiar with departmental policies and procedures and most or all departmental functions.
  • Knowledge of industry practices and existing regulatory requirements.
  • Proficient in commonly used office automation tools.
  • KEY COMPETENCIES: Analysis - extracting, relating and comparing data from different sources.
  • Collaboration - working effectively with others in the organization to accomplish organizational goals and to identify and resolve problems.
  • Communication - expressing ideas effectively in individual and group situations; adjusting language or terminology to the characteristics and needs of the audience
  • Experience with Q2 and Fiserv Premier Core is a Plus


Education

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
