The Regional Account Manager (RAM) is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with marine and RV dealers, and is the primary sales and service contact for these dealers. The RAM works with various dealers to offer marine and RV financing for their customers.


Attains monthly, quarterly, and annual loan production goals for the assigned territory.


Communicates with owners, managers and sales personnel in the dealerships to develop favorable business relationships for the Bank. This includes conducting sales meetings and customer turnovers, as well as entertaining dealership principals and staff which may require time outside of normal work hours.


Provides extensive financing sales assistance to dealership personnel, including training personnel on various techniques used to sell financing to customers and assisting in the development of point of sale materials for distribution.


Assists financing staff with credit application reviews to ensure accurate and proper documentation has been obtained.


Participates in all NSB sponsored marine and RV trade show activities.


Develops and implements sales systems that deliver tangible benefits to the Bank and the representative.


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:


High school diploma or its equivalent is required; a bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in sales and/or marketing is preferred. A minimum of three years of sales experience (with a demonstrated history of sales success) in the auto and/or marine/RV industry is required. The territory covers the state of Michigan.


OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:


Excellent interpersonal communication skills are required, as the position requires extensive customer contact. Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule including some evenings and weekends.
