Overview

As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing data pipeline solutions, app and report development on Power BI and other platforms. This will require you to understand business needs in Sales & Marketing domains, define solutions that meet the needs, and work collaboratively as part of a multi-functional team to deliver the solutions. Success will require close collaboration with stakeholders across multiple functions, and the ability to influence changes in a global organization. This position is ideally suited for an individual who is comfortable in a dynamic environment, with experience in conceptual and analytical problem solving in Commercial Excellence.



Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to support analytics and reporting needs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Operations to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI and other visualization tools.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across multiple systems and sources.
  • Optimize data workflows for performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate data from various platforms (e.g., CRM, ERP, marketing automation).
  • Support data modeling efforts and contribute to the development of a centralized data architecture.
  • Document data processes, pipelines, and system integrations for transparency and maintainability.

This is a Hybrid position working out of Milford, MA office 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday)



Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in data engineering, business intelligence, or a similar technical role.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with data pipeline tools (e.g., Azure Data Factory, DataBricks, SSIS, or similar).
  • Experience with Power BI or other BI platforms for dashboard/report development.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git and GitHub, for collaborative development and code management.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Experience with Python, R, or other scripting languages for data manipulation.
  • Knowledge of CRM and marketing platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo).
  • Familiarity with data governance frameworks and best practices.
  • Experience working in a commercial or life sciences environment is a plus.
