Title: SDOH Policy Division Assistant $23.23 - $35.56 / Posted Thru: 10-24-25 Funded Thru: 9-30-2026 Purpose: The SDOH Policy Division Assistant will serve as a Departmental Technician, providing high-level administrative support to the SDOH Policy Director and the division team. The Division has a comprehensive statewide portfolio of projects and an extensive list of partners. This position is responsible for managing schedules, coordinating meetings, preparing correspondence, and maintaining organized records. The role requires strong attention to detail, discretion, and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Duties and Responsibilities:
Qualifications/Requirements: Education: High school diploma required; Associate degree preferred. Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a secretary or office assistant Important Skills and Characteristics:
Work Environment and Physical Requirements: Position has potential for fully remote or hybrid work (subject to Office of the State Employer determinations on State of Michigan Work from Home Policy and MDHHS epidemic orders). If in-person work is required, this position will be based in Lansing and may require limited in-state travel. Requires a valid vehicle operator's license and access to a vehicle to attend off-site meetings, conferences and training. Responsibility for the Work of Others: No assigned responsibility.
