Position Summary Own core site HR processes and coach supervisors on consistent application of policy. Lead hourly staffing cycles, moderate employee relations cases, and leave coordination while improving data quality and MOR adoption. Key Responsibilities
- Lead hourly recruiting end to end for assigned departments. Fill roles on time and within band.
- Coach supervisors on attendance, performance documentation, and fair scheduling practices.
- Investigate and resolve low to moderate ER issues. Draft corrective action for manager approval.
- Coordinate ADA and FMLA with the Leave/HRIS COE and the employee. Maintain complete files.
- Run weekly People + Ops inputs for HR: RAG updates, Service Tracker aging, and training compliance status.
- Deliver refresher trainings for supervisors on respectful workplace, documentation basics, and HR standards.
- Prepare and present simple site HR reports and trends.
Decision rights & autonomy
- Approve standard hourly offers within band and within headcount.
- Issue written warnings using approved templates when facts are clear and manager agrees.
- Recommend suspensions or terminations to HR Manager and Legal when thresholds are met.
- Decide escalations to HRBP or Legal when risk indicators appear.
Qualifications
- Education
- Education: Bachelor's required.
- Experience
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of HR experience with hourly manufacturing. Prior investigations and staffing ownership required.
- Union experience preferred.
