CLINICAL OR TENURE TRACK FACULTY - PROSTHODONTICS

The University of Iowa's College of Dentistry is conducting a search for a full-time clinical or tenure-track faculty member in the Department of Prosthodontics.

Major responsibilities include:

• overseeing the treatment of patients and education of dental students in the prosthodontic dental student clinics;
• teaching undergraduate and/or graduate level courses; and
• treatment of private patients in the department's intramural faculty practice.

Successful candidates will be required to self-disclose any misconduct history or pending research misconduct investigation including but not limited to sexual misconduct in prior employment and provide a related release and will be subject to a criminal background and credential check.

• DDS/DMD or equivalent; and
• by time of appointment, Master's Degree or Certificate in Prosthodontics from a CODA/CDAC-accredited program.

Desirable qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience implementing prosthodontic curriculum and/or teaching innovations.
• Clinical experience through private practice, military service, or institutional practice.
• Proven academic teaching and clinical supervision experience.
• Proficiency with digital dentistry software, including CAD/CAM technology.
