Position Title: Quality Technician III
Salary: $52,000-$74,880 per year Shift: 1st Hours: 6:30am-3:00pm QPS Employment Group has a great Quality Technician III position available at a company in Rockford, IL. This is a 1st shift, direct hire position. Quality Technician III Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. - Proficiently program and operate CMM and provide instruction and training to other personnel on the proper use of CMM equipment. - Perform advanced non-destructive testing (NDT), including proficiency in magnetic particle testing and other NDT methods, ensuring product quality. - Maintain the instrument calibration system (e.g., Gagetrack), ensuring all instruments are calibrated, documented, and maintained according to established procedures. - Conduct evaluations and investigations of returned products, collecting necessary data to complete timely documentation and disposition in the RGA database. - Perform product inspections and testing to meet customer and RBS quality specifications, generating quality documents such as inspection reports, certificates of conformance, and material certification packets for customers. - Support the scrap/re-work process for discrepant products, ensuring proper documentation and corrective action implementation. - Conduct gage repeatability and reproducibility (GR&R) studies as necessary. - Support ISO Quality System requirements and assist in conducting process audits to ensure compliance. - Maintain the corrective action log and database, ensuring timely and accurate documentation of corrective actions. - Facilitate the movement of parts and components as required, utilizing appropriate mobility tools, including manual handling, carts, and powered lift trucks. - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to company policies and safety regulations. - Any/all other duties as assigned.
