Summary:

In this role, you will build and lead client strategies through collaborative account planning, driving spend optimization and partnership growth aligned with client priorities. You will serve as the executive-level point of contact for C-suite and supply chain leaders, ensuring alignment of strategic objectives, managing client risk, and advancing performance improvement initiatives that deliver measurable and sustainable outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and sustain trust-based relationships with C-suite and senior executives.
  • Develop and execute multi-year account strategies aligned with client priorities and organizational goals.
  • Leverage data and insights to identify challenges, uncover opportunities, and present actionable recommendations.
  • Interpret financial metrics and business drivers to inform strategies and measure value creation.
  • Anticipate industry trends and guide clients through evolving market conditions.
  • Partner across internal business units to align resources and solutions with client needs.
  • Facilitate productive executive-level discussions that influence decision-making and strategy direction.
  • Identify and pursue business development opportunities that deepen client relationships and expand revenue.
  • Represent the organization with professionalism, credibility, and executive presence.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.
  • 10 or more years of relevant experience required.
  • Experience in healthcare supply chain operations, strategic account management, or consulting within complex environments.
  • Proven ability to manage executive relationships and drive measurable performance improvement.
  • Strong financial, analytical, and strategic planning skills.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and influence abilities.
  • Demonstrated executive presence and consultative leadership approach.
  • Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients' needs and timetables.
  • Candidate must be located in the Northeast.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $156,500.00 to $290,100.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
