Rank will be determined based on the credentials of the selected candidate. Responsibilities: Candidates are sought to enhance the School's focus on emerging technologies in Computer Engineering, particularly with expertise, scholarly interest, and an excellent capacity for teaching and research in multiple areas within Computer Engineering, such as digital systems design, System-on-Chip embedded systems, computer architecture, high-performance computing, or other emerging fields in computer engineering. Additional Information: Mercer's undergraduate engineering program is accredited by ABET/EAC using a core curriculum model. The School of Engineering offers both Bachelor's and Master of Science in Engineering degrees with specializations in biomedical, civil, computer, electrical, environmental, industrial, and mechanical, as well as engineering-related programs in cybersecurity, technical communications, and industrial management. The undergraduate curriculum is dynamic, innovative, and broadly based, and it includes the option of an integrated BSE/MSE degree program for qualified candidates. Total engineering enrollment is over 750 students. Selection of the final candidate is contingent on a successful background check.
