Pay and Schedule

Pay Rate: $21-$24 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 2nd Shift (1:45 PM - 10:00 PM)

Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire

What You'll Do

As a Machinist (Multi-Spindle Screw Machine Operator), you'll be responsible for setting up and operating various machine tools to produce precision metal components that meet exacting specifications. Your craftsmanship and mechanical know-how will help keep production running smoothly and efficiently.

Daily Responsibilities:



  • Set up and operate multi-spindle lathes and other precision machinery.
  • Calculate dimensions and tolerances using math skills and measuring tools like micrometers and calipers.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to ensure all parts meet exact specifications.
  • Monitor machine feed, speed, and cutting performance during operation.
  • Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy using gauges and other precision instruments.
  • Maintain, clean, and lubricate machines and tools to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and adjust machinery as needed to ensure efficient operation.
  • Perform basic equipment maintenance and repairs.
  • Keep a clean and organized work area following 5S and safety standards.



What You'll Bring



  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of manual machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of blueprints, layout, and machining procedures.
  • Experience with measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
  • Solid mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with oil, noise, and moving machinery.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision craftsmanship.
