As part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team, you'll play a key role in conformal coating production, troubleshooting, and engineering support-helping bridge the gap between design and delivery.

Pay and Schedule

Pay: $20 - $30 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM | 1st Shift

Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire | Full-Time

What You'll Do

In this role, you'll combine engineering principles with hands-on production expertise to ensure every product meets the highest quality standards. You'll work closely with engineers and production staff to identify, troubleshoot, and improve mechanical and electrical processes.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Program and operate automated conformal coating equipment.
  • Hand-apply coatings and rework boards to resolve quality issues.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical/electrical PC assemblies and sub-assemblies to the component level.
  • Analyze design and production errors to identify root causes and solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on functionality, design, and process updates.
  • Manage documentation, parts, BOMs, and engineering change requests/orders (ECR/ECO).
  • Support corrective actions for non-conformance reports (NCR/ISR/PSR).
  • Assist with assembly work as needed to meet production goals.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.



What You'll Bring



  • Education: Associate of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology or Electronics Engineering Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 3-5 years in electro-mechanical systems, electronics packaging, or production engineering.
  • Knowledge:

    • Engineering principles, ASME Y14 series, ISO 9001, ASTM, ANSI, SAE, and EIA standards.
    • Document management systems, MRP, CRM, spreadsheets, and technical documentation.
    • Understanding of both English and Metric systems.


  • Skills: Strong troubleshooting ability, mechanical/electrical aptitude, and attention to detail.
  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Teamwork: A collaborative mindset and willingness to flex between tasks as needed.
