Under direction, responsible for leading daily operations of rehabilitation department services areas, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and lift team. Daily responsibilities include management of patient schedule, daily patient assignments, facilitating use of Assistants, overseeing regulatory compliance issues, and other related lead duties. Implements appropriate policies to ensure quality patient care in the absence of staff due to illness or emergencies. Participates in training and program development and represents the department to the medical and general community. Responsible for 1-2 major projects each year to improve operations of Rehabilitation Services (i.e. Performance Improvement). Demonstrates competence in the UC San Diego Health System Core Values and Leadership Core Competencies. Responsible for delivery of physical therapy services including evaluation and treatment of routine and complex patients. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $114,381 - $150,879 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $54.78 - $72.26 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable). |
