The HR People Partner provides expert direction on complex HR matters to people leaders and team members across the organization in order to support the delivery of organisational goals through the effective implementation of HR processes, policies and programs. The HR People Partner is responsible for aligning business practices with HR Strategy to support Team Members throughout their employment and for informing the overall HR strategy Essential Job Functions Provides advice and counsel to people leaders on management and general employment practices, performance improvement, employee relations, compliance, leave management, workplace injury & illness and other areas of HR operations in support of business objectives. Contributes to cross functional HR initiatives and projects, balancing business unit and enterprise needs. Aims for global consistency with regional delivery. Investigates and resolves team member concerns while functioning as a culture champion and advisor to leaders. Partners with the Business Unit HR Business Partner to understand their assigned business units' strategic objectives and provide regular feedback on identified issues related to the Business Unit. Leverages knowledge of HR policies and HR programs to identify gaps or areas for improvement. Works closely with HR Leaders, HR Compliance, and Legal Counsel on team member matters to ensure Company and team member compliance. Helps address team members' and people leaders' most urgent needs. Assists people leaders in providing team members with development opportunities that align with current and future performance standards. Develops and promotes ongoing feedback mechanisms for team members to influence the continuous improvement of HR services and processes. Provides expert advice and coaching to team members when appropriate. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements Experience 4 years of experience in Human Resources Experience supporting team members in a people-facing role Experience working in a fast paced, matrixed environment Education Bachelor's degree in business administration, HR management or related field, or equivalent experience in lieu of degree Preferred Requirements Certifications such as SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP, SPHR, PHR or SWP Desired Skills And Capabilities Strong understanding of the processes, policies and systems within HR Strong understanding of local labor laws and employment practices for applicable location Ability to identify new ways for HR to support the business strategy Ability to engage, inspire and influence people Effective team player and networker Thorough understanding of conflict resolution Ability to remain tactful, calm and persuasive in controversial and/or confrontational situations Strong written and verbal communication skills Must be comfortable working in ambiguous and/or stressful situations Motivated self-starter, confident, and able to navigate through change Effective collaborator with proven process improvement skills Exceptional organization and time management skills Strong personal credibility with the ability to build trusted relationships with senior managers in order to influence Advanced PC skills with proficiency in Google Suite or MS Office Work Location Considerations This role is either office-based or hybrid due to the need to build relationships and work with onsite leaders and team members. Working Hours and Overtime Typical hours are Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm Flexibility may be needed based on time zone and coverage Physical Requirements Primarily sedentary work involving prolonged computer use.
