Seeking a full time Vice President/Sr. Vice President to join a growing Tax Advisory practice as a team member to lead income tax provision engagements for private equity and corporate clients. Tax Advisory team members will be trusted advisors having extensive technical experience and the ability to understand each client's unique business strategy and needs.

Major Duties and Responsibilities
  • Identify and communicate key tax risks, opportunities, and process improvements to clients and leadership
  • Demonstrate deep proficiency with ASC 740 requirements, including preparation and review of income tax accruals, quarterly and annual journal entries, tax footnotes, and reconciliations
  • Conduct and review federal and state tax research, drafting technical memorandums to support client positions and filings
  • Advise clients on corporate tax matters spanning provision, planning, and compliance considerations
  • Assist in business development efforts through client relationship management, participation in proposals, and contribution to practice growth initiatives
  • Participate in recruiting, onboarding, and training of new team members
  • Promote collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning across project teams
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Strong working knowledge of ASC 740 and related income tax accounting principles
  • Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to explain complex technical concepts clearly
  • Relationship-oriented, with proven ability to manage client expectations and deliver high-quality results under deadlines

    * Team-focused with a positive, professional demeanor and a commitment to developing others
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or related field
  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant tax experience in a Big Four or national accounting firm, or a large corporate tax department
  • Demonstrated experience leading or reviewing income tax provision engagements
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required
