We're looking for a talented Industrial Painter who takes pride in a job well done. In this role, you'll apply primers and finish coatings with precision, ensuring every surface meets our high standards for quality and consistency. You'll work with materials like enamel and epoxy to protect and perfect our manufactured products.

What Success Looks Like

  • Adjust sprayer valves and nozzles to control spray width and pressure for precise application.
  • Apply primer and finish coatings evenly, maintaining proper thickness and quality standards.
  • Maintain the paint room while following all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Operate the Shot Blaster to clean structural steel safely and effectively.
  • Track paint usage for VOC compliance and reporting purposes.
  • Prepare materials for painting, including cleaning with solvents or applying caulk as needed.

Qualifications That Shine

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2-4 years of relevant industrial painting experience.
  • Strong attention to quality, with the ability to check work using measurement tools.
  • Experience operating cranes and other mobile equipment safely.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Proficiency with computer programs such as IFS, SharePoint, Cratetracker, and other software used for VOC tracking.
  • Skilled in operating paint booths, including using wet and dry film gauges and shot blasters.
  • Ability to apply primer and finish coatings to the correct mil thickness consistently.
