Requisition: 1253 Title: Open Source Monitoring Specialist (Arabic) Clearance: Secret Location: Rosslyn, VA Overview: Agile is an award-winning national security company looking for Open Source Monitoring Specialist (Arabic) to support a federal law enforcement client's Open Source Intelligence Program focused on detecting threats to specific people, locations, and events. The ability of the program to effectively identify threats relies on being able to monitor online publicly available information in multiple languages, including Arabic. As a Arabic language-enabled Open Source Monitoring Specialist, you will use your Arabic language ability, Boolean logic, automated search tools, and other research skills to find potential threats in social media, news sites, forums, and other open source sources. The threats you find will be used by security and law enforcement personnel worldwide to increase the safety of specific people, locations, and events. Shift work will be required (6am-6:15pm, 4 shifts on/4 shifts off). Clearance: Secret Responsibilities/Duties:* Conduct open source monitoring, research, and support in Arabic and English to overseas personnel, domestic investigative offices, protection details, and external consumers Quickly, clearly, and concisely communicate potential threats and other relevant information Provide expert Arabic translation and knowledge Utilize specialized tools, and advanced search techniques to identify potential threats Review incoming open source information to assess the accuracy, credibility, validity, and relevance of known media sources Prepare preliminary referrals to other law enforcement, protection, or intelligence partners Provide technical advice and guidance in the planning and execution of open source collection operations Use ad-hoc Program guidance in the creation of Boolean or other query-language algorithms used in commercial and unclassified tools Support large-scale, multi-national events domestically and abroad (as available and if desired) Assist training teams in the development of training modules Willingness and ability to support open source monitoring efforts outside Arabic-speaking regions as needed Required Qualifications:* Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of relevant experience or 3 years of relevant experience without a degree. Relevant experience includes any positions that required advanced online research techniques.
