This is a unique opportunity to join a collaborative team supporting custom, high-impact solutions in the fiber optics industry. *Position Summary* As a *Sales Order Administrator*, you'll be responsible for managing customer orders from entry to shipment, ensuring compliance with export regulations, and maintaining strong communication with internal teams and clients. This role requires attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to manage multiple tasks across departments. *Key Responsibilities* * Enter and process customer orders in ERP system * Review and manage letters of credit and payment terms * Verify customer legitimacy and ensure export/import compliance * Prepare shipping documentation and coordinate with freight forwarders * Maintain accurate backlog reports and provide order status updates * Collaborate with internal teams: Sales, Logistics, Accounting, and Supply Chain * Assist with invoice preparation and resolve discrepancies * Research and resolve issues related to unshipped orders *Qualifications* * Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of relevant experience in order management or customer service * Experience with export/import regulations and documentation preferred * Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite * Excellent communication and organizational skills * Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities * Experience in environments with minimal formal processes is a plus * Candidates from highly structured environments (e.g., Intel) are not preferred *Interview Process* * *Initial Interview* - With VP of Operations (via Teams) * *Team Interview* - With two Order Management team members (via Teams) * *Final Interview* - On-site with cross-functional departments *Benefits* * Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability coverage from day one * 401(k) with company match (50% of the first 4%) after 90 days * Accrued vacation and sick time (80 hours annually each) * ~10 paid holidays per year * Drug test and bg check required *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $75000.00/yr. You will be eligible to participate from your date of hire in our medical, dental plans, vision, life insurance, and short and long-term disability programs. In addition, you will be eligible to participate in the Company 401(k) plan on the first day of the quarter following 90 days of service with the company. For 2024 the 401(k) plan provides for a company match of 50% of the first 4% of an employee's contribution. You will accrue vacation hours from your date of hire and are able to use the hours as you accrue them. Your vacation accrual rate will start at 2 weeks (80 hours annually or 3.08 hours per pay period). Your sick time will accumulate at 3.08 hours per pay period (80 hours annually).
